Who is C.P. Post?

Intention & Vision

  • I love making people laugh. I grew up in a family that was always laughing, and being silly. One of my first experiences with Comedy, was Monty Python. My Family is British, so Python was huge in my house. All and every type of British humor was on the menu. For me British Humor, is intelligently written and performed. As a child I loved to play act, using only our imaginations friends and I would put on entire variety shows. I quickly realized, being silly, and smartly executed performance was the key to big laughter. I have always loved mad cap comedy, slap stick comedy. However, high brow, well-written and intelligent humor is by far my favorite.

  • It was a long journey to the stage as a solo performer. I felt like had been performing my whole life, through story-telling. That is my gift, story-telling. I began my life in the theater as a teenager. My first acting job, I was hired by the New York Renaissance Fair. From there, I was part of group who began The Canterbury Society, an Improvisational- environmental-Anachronisitic Theatrical Troup. I think it was there that I got my love for Improv. Always a lover of History, I was lucky enough to have spent part of my childhood growing up in UK, where I was in a school production of “The Sound of Music”.

  • Today I have performed in comedy clubs and many other venues as a guest and as a featured comedian as well..
